摘要 FARSITE（ Fire Area Simulator）是一个基于物理学、燃烧学和试验理论为一体的时空火面积模型，它集成了地表火蔓延模型、可燃物含水率模型，飞火模型、火加速模型和树冠火蔓延等模型。FARSITE 所需的空间可燃物数据和地形是由 ARCVIEW GIS 来生成并输入到模型中，模拟大时空尺度上的林火蔓延过程，随着时间步长的变化，模拟结果能够直观的在地图上呈现出来，随时反映出林火蔓延模拟的瞬时状态和走势。本文介绍了 FARSITE 模型中使用的基本原理、数据结构和模拟运行的机制以及目前国内外 FARSITE 模型的应用现状，以期为建立适用于我国国家级尺度的大时空尺度上林火蔓延模拟的火行为模型提供参考。
